While safety is certainly a concern after a tempestuous past few years, this is all about getting Ivanka closer to her goal of a life in the political field.
What’s Next for Ivanka Trump?
Ivanka Trump is yet to throw her name in the ring for any sort of political position or run for office once the current administration ends on January 20. That said, anyone who follows the latest political news also knows that she had never denied her own political ambitions.
What a future campaign might look like is as of yet unclear; but the move to Florida; which her father won in 2016 and 2020, seems like a logical move for someone looking to build on the Trump legacy in the state.
It’s worth noting that her name and the experience gained over the last four years will help Ivanka Trump bypass some of the hurdles that those new to the political world need to clear. She could potentially run against Marco Rubio for Senate in 2022, but that seems like a tough nut to crack. Alternatively; she could also run for governor.
That would need to be in the future; as you need to be a Florida resident for seven years before being able to run for that office.
If the governor’s office seems appealing; Ivanka Trump could potentially for the mayor’s office in Indian Creek, the location of the new family home. It would be a smaller position for sure, but one that could help groom her for the next step forward.
