DR. FAUCI PROLONGING MASKS IN THE UNITED STATES

According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), fully vaccinated people do not need to wear masks inside or outside. CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky broke the news on Thursday, which brought joy to many people throughout the United States.

The light at the end of the tunnel shined brighter than ever after Walensky said,

“Anyone who is fully vaccinated can participate in indoor and outdoor activities – large or small — without wearing a mask or physically distancing. If you are fully vaccinated, you can start doing the things that you had stopped doing because of the pandemic.”

However, just a few hours later, Dr. Fauci released a statement.

Fauci’s Statement on Children and Masks

Dr. Fauci, the highest-paid government employee, agreed with the CDC that vaccinated individuals do not need masks anymore. The nation’s primary infectious disease expert has switched his stance on masks more times than one can count, but he still advising kids to keep their faces covered.

According to Dr. Fauci, unvaccinated children still need to wear masks inside and outside. If they are playing with friends, they must wear masks to prevent the spread of the virus. The covers will also prevent children from contracting COVID-19.

It’s believed that Fauci’s statement will be tough to enforce after the CDC told Americans that a vaccination means they can remove their masks. Dr. Fauci has lost credibility throughout this process, so the timing of the CDC’s comments does not help the infectious disease expert.

He said 12 to 15-year-olds could get vaccinated in most states, and he is advising parents to have their children receive the shot. Pfizer is saying that children of all ages will be able to get inoculated by the end of the year.

Does Dr. Fauci Think the Pandemic is Over

Dr. Fauci has been accused of wanting to extend the pandemic for personal gain. He has gone from an unknown government official to headlining the cover of TIME and InStyle Magazine. After Fauci claimed that unvaccinated children should wear masks, he warned Americans that the pandemic is not over.

If Americans let up their guard, it will come back to haunt the nation in the coming weeks. The CDC advised that people still wear masks on public transportation through mid-September.

When Fauci was questioned about the state of COVID-19, he responded,

“I wouldn’t go so far as to say it’s essentially over. I think this is an essential step in the direction of trying to get back to some degree of normality. Because this is something that everyone has had on their mind … and being able to go around without a mask indoors as well as outdoors is really a big step in that direction.”

People who are not vaccinated still need to wear masks, according to the CDC. Fauci said there is still work to be done, but he is encouraged by the progress in the country. The CDC was advising people to wear masks two weeks ago in outdoor public settings.

No matter what you think of Dr. Fauci, there have been countless mixed messages from him and the CDC throughout the pandemic.
