BIDEN & TRUMP WILL COMPETE IN SEPARATE TOWN HALL EVENTS ON THURSDAY NIGHT

The media fight between the presidential candidates Donald J. Trump and Joe Biden will resume this coming Thursday night with two separate televised town hall presentations.

After the Commission on Presidential Debates confirmed the cancellation of the second Presidential Debate, originally scheduled for October 15th; American voters found themselves with only one more opportunity left to see the Republican and Democratic candidates confront each other on live television, that of the upcoming debate set for October 22nd.

In view of this, NBC and ABC TV networks arranged to conduct separate Town Hall events, each featuring one candidate and airing at the exact same time (8 pm ET) on Thursday night. Talk about competing for attention!

This unexpected TV broadcast will be one of the last remaining opportunities for the candidates to convince any left undecided voters, and to help them win an edge in those difficult, electoral-vote heavy swing states. The event is also extremely important for bookmakers, who are right now sharpening their betting odds for the very disputed 2020 Election.

TRUMP HALL & BIDEN HALL

Trump will be making his TV appearance on NBC News on Thursday night, in a Town Hall event conducted by NBC News anchor Savannah Guthrie.

The organizers have stated that all viable health-safety measures will be imposed, including the mandatory use of face masks and at least 12-feet separation between Trump and the shows’ moderator.

The President’s Town Hall gig was announced after Joe Biden stated he would be participating in his own town hall event, which will be broadcast via the ABC network during the exact same TV time slot.
