World Politics: World Leaders “Can’t Hardly” Wait” to Congratulate Biden & Harris

We may not have noticed it in the past; but it is more than clear now: The media are the most influential political entity in the United States of America. They alone have declared Joe Biden the next US President; and the whole wide world has gladly joined in the celebrations:

French President Emmanuel Macron; got on his Twitter account to cheer Biden in his electoral win yesterday:

The Americans have chosen their President. Congratulations @ Joe Biden and @Kamala Harris. We have a lot to do to overcome today’s challenges. Let’s work together!

Considering how Trump once made some unkind comments about the physical appearance of Macron’s wife; it’s perfectly understandable how he may himself feel “personal” joy in the US election news.

-Meanwhile; Germany’s Chancellor, Angela Merkel, took on a more pro-female empowerment view of the matter; as she herself tweeted: “I sincerely wish him (Biden) the best of luck and every success and I would also like to congratulate Kamala, Harris; the first female vice-president-elect in the history of this country.”

Up north in friendly ol’ Canada; Prime Minister Justin Trudeau expressed he is looking forward to working more closely with Biden and his administration in the future.

In Latin America; Costa Rican center-left President Carlos Alvarado also praised Biden; and said he hoped the strong and long-standing relationship between both countries would be strengthened by his victory.
